With more than two decades of real estate experience in the Brenham and Washington County area, Shelly brings extensive knowledge of both residential and rural real estate to buyers and sellers. Her experience is especially valuable when working with Texas farm and ranch properties, acreage, land, country homes, horse properties, recreational properties, and rural estates, where wells, septic systems, agricultural exemptions, fencing, easements, minerals, restrictions, and other property-specific considerations can make rural transactions more complex.

A native Houstonian, Shelly traded city life for the Brenham countryside in 2003 and built her real estate career around the lifestyle she loves. She previously served for 10 years as the Broker/Owner of 5 Star Country Properties before partnering with Legend Texas Properties in 2017. Today, she leads the 5 Star Ranch Team, helping clients buy and sell property throughout Brenham, Chappell Hill, Burton, Washington, Bellville, Hempstead, Fayetteville and surrounding communities in Washington, Austin, Waller, Fayette, Grimes and neighboring counties.

Shelly’s expertise in rural real estate also led her to teach Farm & Ranch Real Estate classes at Champions School of Real Estate, where she has shared her knowledge and practical experience with other Texas real estate professionals.
